The HDMI CONTROL function does not 
work.
, When HDMI indicator does not light up on 
the front panel, check the HDMI connection 
(page 17).
, Set the “HDMI CONTROL” setting in

Display language on the screen switches 
automatically.

the display language on the screen 
automatically switches, according to the 
language setting of the connected TV, if you 
change the language settings on your TV, 
etc.
The DVD player turns on automatically.

Some TV has this function for HDMI

Self-diagnosis Function 
(When letters/numbers appear in the 
display)
When the self-diagnosis function is activated 
to prevent the player from malfunctioning, a 
five-character service number (e.g., C 13 50) 
with a combination of a letter and four digits 
appears on the screen and the front panel 
display. In this case, check the following 
table.
