Digital Network Recorder
Pause Live TV
Allows you to manipulate live TV as if it was a recording. You can “Pause”,”slow motion”, or
“rewind” it. You can even get instant replay at the touch of a button.
Sony’s “List” Button
Allows direct access to your now playing list right away. The now playing list is the
list of programs that have been recorded and are ready for you to watch. At the top of the list are the programs
you have requested.Below that are any TiVo suggestions that have been recorded for you. Scroll up and down
the lost and press select to start playing a recording. Unlike a VCR the now playing list labels everything for you
so there are no more mystery tapes without labels.
Auto VCR Transfer
Automatically saves your favorite programs to a Sony VCR for later viewing. Connect
the VCR with the IR blaster control cable, put a tape in the VCR, choose the proper line input on the VCR and
select “save to VCR”. The VCR Automatically turns on and starts recording.
Season Pass
Automatically records every episode of your favorite show every time it airs. If the network
changes the broadcast times, the season pass will begin to record the show at it’s new time. Season Pass is
specific to a particular channel. If a program is a first run prime show or ion syndication on another day and
time (but on the same channel) Season Pass will record both shows. If the program is in syndication on anoth-
er channel it will not be recorded.
Thumbs Up™ Thumbs Down™
buttons rate your programs. TiVo’s suggestions lists recorded shows that
match your interests. Anytime you’re watching a program, weather it’s live or pre-recorded, you can rate it by
pressing the Thumbs up button on your remote control. Or, if you do not like the program, you can press the
Thumbs Down button. Each program can be given as many as three Thumbs up or Down.
TiVo Suggestions

updated personal TV preferences.
