Introduction
Option Settings
When you click the "Option" button on the Easy Video CD startup screen, you can set the
options in Easy Video CD.

 MPEG exporting options
When you select "Batch encoding", the video on the video camera's tape is downloaded to the
PC in AVI format, then converted to MPEG1 format (which conforms to the Video CD
standard), after which the Video CD is created.
When you select "Real time encoding", the video on the video camera's tape is downloaded to
the PC in MPEG1 format, after which the Video CD is created.
If you download one hour of motion video and it will take some time before writing to the
disk, the total length will be about three hours for "Concurrent encoding", and about one and
one-half hours for "Real time encoding".
 Important
If you select "Real time encoding", the data may not be downloaded properly in some
environments (e.g., if you are using Easy Video CD on a PC that is not very powerful).
 Point
Downloaded video is saved as a motion video file in MPEG1 format, which conforms to the
Video CD standard.
 Work folder
Specify a work folder. Downloaded motion video files will be saved in this folder.
If there is not enough free disk space, operations may not work properly, so select a hard
drive with as much free space as possible.
