Technology automatically adjusts to suit the capabilities 

of the system PowerDVD is installed on, while advanced users have the option to adjust settings 
themselves.

 HD - Displays DVDs as they were meant to be displayed—in picture-perfect quality on 

an HDTV. Using a sophisticated up-scaling algorithm, TrueTheater HD provides sharper, artifact-free 
video quality while up-scaling from low to high resolutions.

 Motion - Provides a smoother, judder-free video playback experience using frame 

rate up-conversion technology. TrueTheater Motion is designed to take advantage of systems 
based on hyper-threading technology and dual-core CPUs.

 Stretch - Enables users to choose from preset stretch settings or lets them manually 

tweak their own stretch parameters in order to customize their playback for the wide variety of displays 
available in today’s market.

 Lighting - Gives users a choice of powerful, lighting eff ects that bring a richer, 

brighter, clearer picture to video content.

 Surround - Creates multichannel, surround-like audio output for conventional 

stereo speakers and headphones. TrueTheater Surround also provides expansion and eff ects for 
up to 8-channel audio systems.
