Basic Functions
Selecting Menus and Settings
Menus are used to adjust shooting, replaying, and camera settings. Watch the LCD
monitor or viewfinder while performing the following procedures.

Press the Menu button.
• In 
 mode, the [
 (Rec.)] menu will appear.
In 
 mode, the [
 (Play)] menu will appear.

Press the 
 or 
 arrow on the omni
selector to switch between menu tabs.
• Pressing the 
 arrow displays the [  (Set up)]
menu, while the 
 arrow displays either the
[
 (Rec.)] or [
 (Play)] menu.
• Pressing the Jump button also switches
between the menu tabs.

Press the 
 or 
 arrow on the omni
selector to select a menu item.
• The 
 arrow selects the next item, the 
arrow the previous one.

Press the 
 or 
 arrow on the omni
selector to select setting contents.
• The 
 or 
 arrow switches between
settings.
• Press the Set button for items followed by an
ellipsis (...) and then select a setting. Press the
Set button again to confirm the setting.

Press the Menu button.
• Pressing the Menu button closes the menu and
makes the settings take effect.
• In shooting mode, the menu can be closed by
pressing the shutter button halfway.
