Recompose the image and press the shutter button all the
way to shoot the image.
• Method 2 is convenient because you can let go of the shutter button to recompose
the image.
Shooting in Manual Focus Mode
The focus can be manually set.

Press and hold the MF button and press
the 
 or 
 arrow on the omni
selector.
• The focus will lock and the 
 icon will show
in the display panel. The   icon and the MF
indicator will appear in the LCD monitor or
viewfinder.
• Adjust the focus with the 
 or 
 arrow on
the omni selector until the image appears
focused in the LCD monitor or viewfinder.
• Pressing the MF button a second time cancels
the manual focus mode.
