Connecting GPS Devices via Bluetooth

When the confirmation message is 
displayed, select [OK].
 
The GPS connection status changes to 
[Connected]. Pressing <0> under these 
conditions will enable you to disconnect the GPS 
device.
 
While the Bluetooth connection is active, <s> and 
the <r> are shown on the LCD panel of the 
camera.

Confirm operation of the GPS device.
 
Make sure the GPS device has determined the 
current location.

Take the picture.
 
After confirming that <r> is shown on the LCD 
panel of the camera, shoot when ready.
 
If the <r> icon is blinking when you shoot, 
accurate GPS data will not be added to images.

Check the GPS data.
 
Playback the image in single image display.
 
Press the <6> button to display the shooting 
information screen with GPS data.
From top to bottom: latitude, longitude,
altitude, and Coordinated Universal Time
When the camera’s power is turned off and on or when it wakes up from auto power off, do not shoot 
until the <r> lamp remains lit. If you shoot while the lamp is blinking, the correct GPS information 
may not be added to images.
The date and time indicated is the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) as obtained by the GPS device, 
which is nearly the same as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). In some cases, the date and time of the 
zone specified on the GPS device is indicated.
