請依照下列步驟安裝或升級硬碟 / 固態硬碟：
1.
將 VivoMini 關機，然後拔除所有連接排線與裝置。
2.
將 VivoMini 電腦正面朝上放置在穩定且平坦的表面。
3.
將上蓋鎖閂的所有螺絲取出，然後將鎖閂向下推下（A 與 B），接著將上蓋由
VivoMini 正面（C）往後方滑出直到脫離機殼。

4.
將上蓋（D）拉起並取下，接著將其置於一旁。
5.
移除硬碟 / 固態硬碟托架的 4 顆螺絲。
6.
（視情況而定）升級硬碟時，先移除托架的 4 顆螺絲，然後取下托架以安裝您的硬
碟 / 固態硬碟。

請依照下列步驟安裝或升級其他 HDDs/SSDs:

腦的上蓋。

IMPORTANT!
•
It is recommended that you install or upgrade the memory modules, hard disk
drive (HDD), and/or solid state drive (SSD), under professional supervision. Visit
an ASUS service center for further assistance.
•
Ensure that your hands are dry before proceeding with the rest of the installation
process. Before installing any of the features in this guide, use a grounded wrist
strap or touch a safely grounded object or metal object to avoid damaging them
due to static electricity.
Your VivoMini is available in three different models:
VC65 Series with 2 x HDD and 1 x ODD
VC65 Series with 4 x HDD
VC65 Series with 2 x HDD

Installing 2.5” hard disk drive / solid state drive
(HDD1L, HDD1R)
Installing 2.5” HDDs/SSDs (HDD2L, HDD2R)
To install or upgrade the hard disk drives / solid state drives:
1.
Turn off your VivoMini then disconnect all cables and peripherals.
2.
Place the VivoMini on a flat stable surface, with its top side facing up.
3.
Remove the screw from the top cover lock latch and push the latch down (A and B),
then slide the top cover towards the rear of your VivoMini (C) until it is detached from
the chassis.
4.
Lift and remove the top cover (D) and set it aside.
5.
Remove four (4) screws from the HDD/SSD bracket.
6.
(optional) To upgrade your HDD/SDD, first remove the four (4) screws on the bracket,
then remove the bracket.
7.
To install a new HDD/SSD, secure the HDD/SSD to the bracket using four (4) screws.
To install or upgrade additional HDDs/SSDs:
1.
Follow steps 1-4 on page 2 under the Installing 2.5” hard disk drive / solid state drive section
of this guide to remove the top cover of your VivoMini.
2.
Remove the six (6) screws from the upper HDD/SSD bracket and set them aside, then
remove the bracket.
8.
Connect the cable to the HDD1L, HDD1R and PWR1 connectors in your VivoMini.
9.
Connect the cable to the HDD/SSD, then align the bracket to the HDD/SSD
compartment of your VivoMini and secure the bracket with the screws previously
removed.
10.
Replace the top cover (A) your VivoMini and slide it towards the front of the VivoMini to
re-attach (B), then push the latch up and secure it using a screw (C and D).
NOTE: Ensure to organize the cables to prevent any damage to your VivoMini and to
ensure the top cover can be replaced successfully.
NOTE:
•
Ensure to remove the holder from the bracket when installing an HDD/SDD to
the HDD1R bracket.
•
The availablility of the holder may vary depending on the model type, country, or
region.

To install or upgrade the memory modules:
1.
Follow steps 1-4 on page 2 under the Installing 2.5” hard disk drive / solid state drive
section of this guide to remove the top cover of your VivoMini.
2.
Remove four screws from the HDD1L bracket and remove the bracket.
Your VivoMini comes with two SO-DIMM memory slots that allow you to install two 2GB, 4GB, or
8GB unbuffered non-ECC 1.35 V DDR3L 204-pin SO-DIMMs for a maximum of 16GB memory.
Installing or upgrading memory modules
IMPORTANT! Refer to http://www.asus.com for the list of compatible DIMMs. You can
only install 1.35 V DDR3L SO-DIMM to the VivoMini’s DIMM slots.
IMPORTANT! Always install into the lower slot first.
NOTE: If you want to remove the SO-DIMM slot cover, use a flathead screwdriver.
3.
Secure the HDDs/SSDs to the upper bracket using the bundled screws.
4.
Connect the cable to the HDD2L, HDD2R/ODD and PWR2 connectors in your VivoMini.
5.
Connect the cable to the HDDs/SSDs, then align the bracket to your VivoMini and secure
it with the previously removed screws.
3.
Pry the SO-DIMM slot cover open, then set it aside.
4.
Align and insert the memory module into the slot (A) and press it down (B) until it is
securely seated in place. Repeat the same steps to install the other memory module.
5.
Replace the SO-DIMM slot cover.
6.
Align the HDD1L bracket and secure it using the screws removed previously.
7.
Follow step 10 on page 5 under the Installing 2.5” hard disk drive / solid state drive
section to replace the top cover of your VivoMini.
