In most cases, an automatic gradation adjustment is sufficient to deliver the required color
quality. However, in the following situations it is necessary to perform also the shading
correction:
• When the printed output shows uneven color densities in the color panes.
• After the installation of the print system.
• When your service representative replaces system parts.

Connect the Eye-One spectrophotometer to the USB port in the control panel.

Touch [System] -> [Color adjustment] -> [Printer calibration details].

4.

Select [Shading correction].

5.

Touch [Start printer calibration].

6.

Follow the instructions on the control panel.
