12.3 "PREFERENCES" menu of the BBC
This menu enables the binder to be configured according to the operator's preferences.
Settings such as the language, units of measurement, start-up mode etc are defined here.
Note: When the binder is configured in BBC mode, access to the
"PREFERENCES" menu is via the "TOOLS" menu.
For this menu, the functions of the binder are described in chapter
The only specific function dedicated to the BBC is the paper size used by default.

The BBC needs to know the thicknessof the book and the glued spine length.
