There are two types of series mode: 

- "continuous series" mode:  To bind an undefined series of identical books. 

The series mode is permanently selected.

- "preset series" mode:  For a defined number of identical books. 

The series mode is selected for a defined number of jobs 

(configurable via the UI).

1.  The first counter displays the total number of jobs completed since the 

machine was first put in service.

2.  Pressing this icons changes the binder from "series" or "semi-series" mode 

to "unit" mode. The 

 icon indicates that series mode has been selected.

3.  This running counter shows the number of books completed in the current 

job. The value of this counter is also displayed at the bottom of the screen.

4. This button resets the running counter to zero.

5.  Pressing this icons changes from "preset" mode to "continuous" mode.  

The 

 icon indicates that "continuous" series mode has been selected.
