3 AUTOMATIC " menu
On start-up, the
automatic menu appears.
The automatic menu enables the operator to bind standard jobs using settings with
default values. The automatic menu facilitates the operator's job - he does not need to
set the cover binding and cover clamp parameters, as they are determined directly
according to the book to be bound.
-> The BB3002 binder is therefore ready for use immediately.
The operator can place the paper to be bound directly in the carriage jaws and begin a
gluing cycle.
4.3.1 Accessing the automatic menu:
1 - Enter the automatic menu by pressing the
icon (A).
2 - Next select the "AUTO" function by pressing the second
icon (B).
WARNING:
This button activates the "AUTO" function. To reinitialise the binding and
cover clamp parameters, press the
button.
If the "AUTO" function is inactive, the operator enters the advanced menu.
This gives access to the cover clamp and binding parameters.
4.3.2 Programming the automatic menu:
1. Select the "AUTO" function by pressing the icon (B)

2. Create a new job by pressing the
icon.
Each parameter is reinitialised with a value “AUTO” automatically set according to the
book to be bound.
3. Enter the height of the book: 210
The default value appears on the screen. This is set in the preferences menu.
To change the book height, press the value displayed. A numeric keypad appears
automatically so that the new value can be entered.
Confirm the value by pressing
on the numeric keypad.
