Canon FlatSpread FS-500 Brochure

Overview 
This new Canon Film Hinge Processor is designed to attach clear film hinges 
directly to double sided prints produced by the DreamLabo 5000 Production 
Inkjet Printer. 

 

Adjustable Hinge Slit Width 
Users can control the “page-flatness” of the Lay-flat album by optimizing the 
width of the hinge slit within 0.02in (0.5mm) to 0.08in(2.0mm)[*]. 

 

Paper Sizes Supported 
The FS-500 will support over 20 paper sizes, to produce popular Photo Album 
sizes between 5 x 6in (127x152mm) and 12 x 19in (305x483mm). 

 

Speed 
The FS-500 can process an A4 (8.27x11.69in/210x297 mm) double-sided sheet in 
approx. 14 seconds[**].  

 Capacity 
The FS-500 includes a standard automatic sheet feeder with 100 sheets capacity. 

 

 FlatSpread Style Lay-Flat Photo Album 
Lay-flat photo books are highly regarded in the premium photo book album 
market, allowing for a professional look, such as a two-page, single-image, 
panoramic spread. The FS-500 will eliminate the need for exclusive, pre-hinged 
sheets, or mounting photos onto backing boards, reducing material and labor 
costs, providing more affordable lay flat options.
