Apps are small programs that add functionality to Xerox Multifunction Printers
(MFPs). Xerox

App Studio is a website for Resellers to create, install, license, and manage ConnectKey
Apps for customers.
Resellers can use App Studio to extend the functionality of an MFP to customize and personalize Apps
for their customers. From Xerox App Studio, Reseller Account users can customize common, routine tasks
into ConnectKey Apps. Resellers can also select Xerox Apps, designed by Xerox and by Xerox Partners,

App Gallery and make them available to their customers.
Customers can use ConnectKey Apps to obtain information, to scan to several types of destinations,
and to print from document repositories.

• Xerox ConnectKey Info App provides a customizable billboard and social media hub for customer
accounts.

Reseller Account users can customize Xerox ConnectKey Apps to meet their customers’ needs. From

• Make controlled changes to the layout of the ConnectKey Apps, and
• Define preset option values, including scan destination details and default settings.
With Xerox App Studio:
• Resellers can manage customer Apps and usage or they can enable the customer to manage their

• Reseller Account users and Customer Subaccount users can deploy Xerox ConnectKey Apps to groups
of devices at a time in a single step or individually using a network connection.
• Reseller Account users and Customer Subaccount users can download a non cloud-based Licensable
Xerox ConnectKey App and save it to a USB flash drive for later installation on a Xerox device.
• Xerox App Studio is functional on devices with the Xerox Extensible Interface Platform
®
(EIP) 2.5 or
higher, depending on the App.
• Networked MFPs can be automatically detected.
