Setting the Printer Status

The Printers menu also provides options whereby printers can be set Offline
(not processing) or Online. The ‘Go Online’ and ‘Go Offline’ options are
context sensitive, depending on the status of the currently selected printer.

A printers status is displayed in the Status column in the Spooler control panel
(see below).

To set the printer status:

1. 

Select the printer in the PARIS Spooler dialogue, then open the
Printers menu. Depending on the 

current status of the selected printer,

‘Go Online’ or ‘Go Offline’ will be displayed.

2. 

Select the option required to change the status.
