The standard Translation Tables supplied with the PARIS Designer are ASCII.TLT
and EBCDIC.TLT. Both tables can be modified and saved as new tables by using
the Save function in the Character Translation dialogue.

The ASCII translation table
The ASCII table is a ‘straight-through’ table. By default each input value is equal to
its output value. This table should be used for any ASCII printstreams (the most
common type of printstream).
