Select/Enter File To Open (.PAK) dialogue
The Resource Unpacker is used to unpack files that have been packed on another
design system. It is also used to unpack files from Laprés. This means individual
Laprés applications can be packed then brought into PARIS.
PARIS pack (.PAK) files can be unpacked in two ways in the Designer. One, they
can be loaded into the Environment Editor as a normal print file, or, two they can be
unpacked via the Resource Unpacker.
To use the second method, put the file to be unpacked into the PARIS/USR
directory, then, in the PARIS Designer Environment Editor:
1.
Select Resource Unpack from the Utilities menu. The Select/Enter File To Open
(.*PAK) dialogue will be displayed. The dialogue defaults to the PARIS/USR
directory and will list the .PAK files in the directory.
2.
Select the required file from the list and choose OK. The file is automatically
read and unpacked and the resources in the file are written to the appropriate
directories.
