The Paris Designer Tools Bar is the same in both the Environment Editor and
Form Editor, with the exception of the Text Block tool and Page tools which are
unavailable for use in the Form Editor.

The Page tools and Text Block tool are specific to the Environment Editor and
their use is described in Move to Page options in Chapter 2 and Creating Text
Blocks in Chapter 3, respectively.

The use of the tools to add and modify elements is the same in both editors,
however as an element added to an environment can behave dynamically,
additional properties can be defined for the element. Chapter 10, Using Dynamic
Form Elements explains these differences and the use of dynamic graphics in an
environment.

Before you add an element to a form, you can define its settings via the element’s
Default Settings dialogue, then when added the element will be in the format
defined in the settings.

You can add an element without previously defining the default settings, by
choosing the required tool and available settings from the Tools Bar, then add the
element.

Once an element is added, it can be edited or the settings can be altered via the
element’s View/Change dialogue.

in Part Three of the Paris Designer Reference Manual.

The use of the Color Palette is not described in detail in this chapter. Refer to
Chapter 22, ‘The Color Palette function’ of the Paris Designer Reference Manual.
