Converting Fonts

If you are using Paris to print to a PCL printer that is using cartridge based fonts
(for example, a signature), the font needs to be described to Paris before it can be
accessed. (The font still needs to be converted so that a screen font can be
generated, but no printer version of the font is made.)
HP-PCL fonts are accessed by their characteristics rather than by name. In order to
achieve this you must fill in all the details in the Resident Font Details section of
the dialogue.
Setting the Resident Font details

To set the Resident Font details:
1. 
Select the Make Font Resident checkbox. The Resident Font details section of
the dialogue will become available.
2. 
Enter the required details in the relevant fields, then choose OK. The font will
be displayed in the Paris Conversion Manager.
