If you send a print job but there is an error at the device that prevents printing and
Bi-Directional Communications is active, an error message is displayed on your computer
screen to alert you. The error message explains what is wrong with the device, such as
a paper jam.The print driver can also notify you when your job is done printing. It displays
a small message in the lower-right corner of your computer screen with the name of the
job and the name of the printer where it was printed.
This tab contains the following menu items.
File menu:
• Refresh: Refreshes the status shown on the tab.
• Exit: Closes the Status dialog box.
View menu:
• Show Only My Jobs: Click to view the print jobs you sent.
• Show All Jobs: Click to view all print jobs on the network.
• Delete Selected Jobs: Select a job, and then select this option to delete it.
Notification menu:
• <notification type>: Select whether you want to be notified when your job has
completed and/or failed.
• <alert sound>: Select whether to play an alert sound when you are notified.
Help menu:
• Help: Displays this help file.
• About: Displays an information box with your current print driver version number and
copyright information.
Status Dialog Box: Supplies Tab
Appears when you click the More Status button in the 
 at the bottom of a
print driver tab, and then select the Supplies tab.
This tab contains the following items:
• <Ink status rows in the table>: Each row displays the color of the ink (cyan, magenta,
yellow, or black), an icon representing the level of the ink, and the percentage
remaining.
• <Tray status rows in the table>: Each row displays an icon representing the level of
the paper in the tray, the percentage full, and the description (size and type) of the
paper loaded in the tray.
