This section details features and settings specific to the Contex FSS scanners.

Controls
The following modes are unique to the FSS scanners:

Bilevel: This mode works best with line art.
•
Dither/Halftone: This mode works best with photo or grayscale images.
The following enhancement buttons are available for all modes:
•
Threshold: Lets you set the point that divides black (0) and white (100) data.
Any scanned data that is lighter than the threshold value will display as white.
Any scanned data that is darker than the threshold value will display as black.
Any scanned data that is lighter than the threshold value will display as white.
Any scanned data that is darker than the threshold value will display as black.
