This example shows you how to change the data
bits and parity settings for the serial setup
configuration.

1. Press the Menu key to take the printer

offline and display the Control Panel Main
Menu.  The display reads:

LANGUAGE
= English

2. Press the Down arrow key until the display

reads SET INTERFACE.

3. Press the Enter key.  The display reads

PRINTOUT MENU.

4. Press the Down arrow key until the display

reads SERIAL

5. Press the Enter key.  The display reads:

Enable I/F
= On

6. Press the Down arrow key to display Serial

Setup.

7. Press the Enter key.  The display reads:

Flow Control
= Xon/Xoff
