At this point the “XCounter configuration (Bindery)” window will appear. 
XCounter must have a unique print server association. Select “Create new 
print server” from the drop down dialog box. Enter a unique print server name 
in the area provided. Select the “Set password” link and enter a password for 
this print server.

The XCounter log file location will default to the sys: system directory on the 
server that XCounter is installed on. This file can be stored anywhere on the 
network. To select a different location for this log file, press the browse button 
and select the path and location desired.

The remaining options may be left at their default value or configured as 
required.

For XCounter to monitor existing printer queues, they must be enabled. Select 
the “Queues” tab and press the “Add” button to display a list of available 
queues. Select the queues to be monitored. XCounter will track all queues that 
are displayed in the “Queues” window. 
Note: XCounter provides numerous queue and server configuration options that can 
be set to meet custom requirements, please refer to the sections “Server 
Configuration” and “Printer Queue Configuration” for more detailed information on 
these options.
