NDS Installation
•
From the graphic interface select “Novell Directory Services” and then the
Server on which XCounter is to be installed. Press the “

At this point the “XCounter configuration (NDS)” window will appear. XCounter
must log into the NDS tree to recognize users, groups, and printers on the
network. NDS requires XCounter to have a unique print server object in the
NDS tree. Select “Create new print server” from the drop down dialog box.
Enter the context and unique print server name in the area provided. Select the
“Set password” link and enter a password for this print server.
