Color Calibration
Restoring default calibration measurements
The EX7750 is shipped with default calibration measurements. You can use these
measurements to achieve acceptable color without calibration, depending on the
printer you use. If the measurement device you use does not produce acceptable color,
you can easily return to the default measurements.

Calibrating the EX7750 with the ES-1000
You can use ColorWise Pro Tools in conjunction with the ES-1000 spectrometer
to calibrate the EX7750.
N
OTE
:
Before using ColorWise Pro Tools and the ES-1000 to calibrate the EX7750,
follow the instructions on
for setting up and calibrating the ES-1000
spectrometer.
ColorWise Pro Tools uses an audible signal (a beep) to guide you through the
calibration procedure. If the computer running ColorWise Pro Tools does not have a
sound card and speaker, you must configure the computer to generate a visual signal
when ColorWise Pro Tools outputs a beep. (Note that the EX7750 does not have a
speaker.) The following procedure is for Windows XP. The procedure is similar for
other Windows versions.
