Push the tabs on both sides of the retard
roll assy in the inward directions.
While rotating the retard roll assy to the
back, remove the roll from the printer.

Install the new retard roll assy in the printer,

projections on both sides of the roll are

Close the top cover and the front cover.

Pull out the tray until it stops. Hold the tray
with both hands, lift it up slightly, and then
pull it out completely.
