ANNOUNCEMENT:
DigiPath Patch Software Version 4.1.0.6
A new DigiPath baseline patch software version 4.1.0.6 has been released
for mass distribution as the new baseline for DigiPath software. This patch should be installed on all DigiPath 4.1
software systems effective 7/20/04. All software support channels will be based on the assumption that all systems have
been upgraded to this version. Problems fixed in this patch release will no longer require a SPAR submission.

All DigiPath patches are cumulative which means that all new patches also contain all of the previous patches within
them. A listing of all SPARS fixed for each version of patch software is listed below.
FreeFlow Scanner 665 The FreeFlow™ Scanner 665 is a production scanner that provides a cost-effective digital input
station for production publishing systems. New features include: improved automatic punched hole detection & removal,
interactive preview capability (allowing multiple IQ corrections without the need for document reload), and an Auto-select
scan location feature (provides automatic detection of documents placed in the feeder or on the platen). The scanner
provides high-speed, black & white text and line art scans. The Integrated Solutions Announcement (ISA) describing the

DigiPath Patch 4.1.0.6
This software release has been made available to include the necessary software changes to enable the new FreeFlow
Scanner 665 for DigiPath 4.1. This does not include any new SPAR fixes.
DigiPath Patch 4.1.0.5
The following fixes, previously reported with DigiPath 4.1.0.5, are also included in DigiPath SPAR patch 4.1.0.6:

Document Scan and Makeready: Size or position for a fill operation is not preserved
•
Document Scan and Makeready: An undo delete adds two unexpected blank pages
•
Images are overlayed
•
A problem with DigiPath Rescue not restoring
•
When importing the RDO files by the particular step, the count of files continues to increase

Some images are missing when a multi-page TIFF is imported by Document Scan and Makeready
•
Network Agent does not work without DocuSP IPP is not available.
