Discovery 
Discovery Settings: General Tab 
The General tab allows you to create a new 
discovery task or edit an existing task. 
Discovery tasks provide a convenient way to 
configure and run different types of 
customized device discovery processes. Once 
tasks are created, you can run them by 
selecting Start > Programs > Xerox > Xerox 
CentreWare Management Pack for MOM > 
Discovery Configuration.
 
•  To create a new discovery, select the 
appropriate Task Type from the drop-
down list. Then click the Create New 
Task
 button 
•  To edit an existing discovery, select it 
from the list then click the Edit button.
