Safety Considerations
Various procedures throughout this user guide may list 2 levels of safety indicators that need
to be adhered to during the performance of a procedure.  These indicators take into account
the level of danger or the size of the potential incidence that can occur while performing a
step in a procedure. Below is a list of these indicators and their meaning as they apply to this
user guide.
CAUTION
Used for a potentially dangerous situation that could lead to small to medium-sized damage,
or when a part or the entire product may be damaged.
Note
Used for information that should be noticed or emphasized.
Warning Labels
The Take-up Unit Warning Label is located on the top of the Take-up Cover.
Note
Make sure you can read all the contents on a warning label.
If some of words or diagrams cannot be read, please clean the label.
To remove dirt from the warning labels, please use a cloth, water, and mild detergent.
Do not use organic solvents or gasoline to clean the labels.
Warning labels must be replaced if damaged, lost, or cannot be read.
Contact your local Xerox Representative if a warning label needs to be replaced.
