Operation
Vacuuming Dry Materials
WARNING:   Be sure to read, understand and apply all the information in the 
Important Safety Instructions section at the beginning of this operator's manual. 
Do not vacuum in areas with fl ammable gases, vapors, or explosive dusts in the 
air.  Flammable gases or vapors include but are not limited to: lighter fl uid, 
solvent type cleaners, oil-base paints, gasoline, alcohol or aerosol sprays.  
Explosive dusts include but are not limited to: coal, magnesium, grain or gun 
powder.  To reduce the risk of health hazards from vapors or dust, do not 
vacuum toxic materials.

1.  Ensure that the power cord is 
     disconnected from the outlet. (Fig. 1)
2.  For dry vacuuming, the cartridge fi lter
     must be installed correctly. To verify,
     please refer to Installing Cartridge Filter
     on page 10.
3.  Ensure that the cartridge fi lter is 
     completely mounted. Ensure that the 
     fi lter is inserted all the way. (Fig. 2, Fig. 3)
4.  Replace the top section on the tank, 
     and secure it in place using the clasps.  
     (Fig.4 )
5.  Insert the larger end of the hose into 
     the front inlet on the tank and lock it in 
     place. Push the required attachment on 
     to the free end of the hose or extension.

6.  Plug the power cord in to the power 
     outlet. (Fig. 6)
7.  Turn the motor on by fl ipping the 
     switch to the ‘I’ position. (Fig. 7)
 
O = OFF    I = ON    
8.  Once you have completed 
     vacuuming, fl ip the switch to the ‘O’ 
     position and unplug the power cord 
     from the power outlet.
DO NOT USE THE CARTRIDGE FILTER
FOR LIQUID VACUUMING.
CAUTION: Do not vacuum drywall dust,
fi replace soot or ash with standard 
Wet/Dry fi lter. This is very fi ne dust 
which will not be captured by the fi lter 
and may cause damage to motor. To 
purchase the fi ne dust fi lter, call
