Introduction
This document provides a sample configuration to repair dead disk drives in the Opal platform on Cisco 7300
Series Content Engines (CE−7300s) or Cisco 4650 Content Distribution Managers (CDM−4650s).

Components Used
The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions:
CDM−4650 that runs Application and Content Networking System (ACNS) 4.0 or later
• 
CDM−4650 with a Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) controller
• 
CE−7320 and CE−7320−DC that run ACNS 4.0 or later
•
