Upgrade Process
As you are planning the day of the upgrade, be sure to contact your billing vendor to
make arrangements to suspend the billing interface on the night of the upgrade. This
is an important step in the planning process to ensure that your system is not
accessing the database during the upgrade process. In addition, contact the
provider(s) of any third-party applications that your system supports. Follow their
guidance in determining whether these third-party interfaces should be stopped and
if the application needs to be updated during the upgrade.
