Installing NCS Software

The following steps summarize how to install new NCS 1.0.1.4 software on supported hardware
platforms (see the

for support details).

Step 1

Click Cisco Download Software at

You might be required to provide your Cisco.com login credentials.

Step 2

Choose Products > Wireless > Wireless LAN Management > Unified Wireless LAN Management >
Cisco Prime Network Control System.

Step 3

Download the appropriate NCS software version .OVA image (for example.
NCS-VA-1.0.0.X-large/small/medium.ova) and deploy the OVA template.

Step 4

Reboot the virtual appliance to initiate the NCS installation process.
