announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco
®
ONS 15454 SONET 6-Port DS-3 Transmultiplexer Card. The
last day to order the affected product is July 15, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco
Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 15, 2011. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected
product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco ONS 15454 SONET 12-Port DS-3 Transmultiplexer Card, which provides increased port
densities plus expanded user options. Information about the replacement product can be found at:
