Introduction
This document describes the important difference between a CatOS System Software and Cisco IOS
®
 System
Software configuration of the Content Switching Module (CSM). All other CSM sample configurations are
configured with Cisco IOS Software on the Multilayer Switch Feature Card (MSFC), independent of the
CatOS or Cisco IOS Software choice.
