Colorstar CS
Colorstar CS is a satin finish, jet or air drying range for
use on paper, display and corrugated board as well as
other substrates such as hardboard, wood, glass,

CS colours are fast drying and have excellent screen
stability/self-solvency and good holdout on absorbent
stocks. They are fully miscible with Seristar SX to
produce intermediate finishes and can be used to
over/under-print Seristar SX.

Stir well before every use. Colorstar CS is suitable
for use on ‘Type 10 Tyvek’ and ‘Depron H’ and, for
interior use only, some grades of polystyrene.

Outdoor Exposure of Seristar SX and Colorstar CS
Although Seristar SX and Colorstar CS inks give good
adhesion to many substrates used outdoors, the
composition of the inks are not suitable for prolonged
outdoor exposure and prints will have limited durability.

Poster Pastes
Certain adhesives and poster pastes can adversely
affect the printed ink film and customers are
recommended to ensure those used are compatible.

Metallic Inks
There is a selection of metallic powders and pastes
which can be blended into Seristar SX383. Full details
