Customers can access the osCommerce website and browse the store contents after the store owner has installed
and set up the store. They can purchase items in the store by creating a user account or as a guest by providing
information for purchasing the items electronically.
In Figure 23, a user has logged in to the store’s portal and added items to the cart. The test discussed in this
document verified the same information later, after the application was scaled, by following the procedure
described in rest of this document. The same user credentials were used to log in to the application accessing the
new web servers deployed in the public cloud (AWS), the authentication was successful, and the cart items
remained in the user account.
