Secure Shell Access to the Service Module
For direct secure shell (SSH) access to the Cisco AXP CLI, a user must first session into the service
module and configure it.

Cisco AXP provides secure shell (SSH) access to the CLI through a default user that acts like a system
administrator. The password for the default system administrator must be configured by the user through

If service password encryption is enabled, the system encrypts the clear text password that is entered and
saves it in the encrypted format in the configuration file. If the user prefers a clear text password, service
