Introduction
This document describes how to whitelist recipient or sender emails on the Cisco Email Security Appliance
(ESA).

Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of these topics:

The information in this document is based on the Cisco ESA that runs any version of AsyncOS.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the
devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure
that you understand the potential impact of any command.
How do you whitelist recipient or sender emails?
Complete these steps in order to whitelist recipient emails so that traffic that flows towards the recipient is not
blocked by an Anti−Spam program or content filtering:
If you do not already have an appropriate skip AS scanning policy, then navigate to Mail Policies >
Incoming Mail Policies
 and click Add Policy.

Name the policy and order it appropriately.
Note: Parsing of the policies occurs in top−down order, so ensure that you place your new policy
above any broader catch−groups.
