Introduction
This document describes how to set up a pair of Clean Access Manager (CAM) machines for High
Availability (HA). When Clean Access Managers are deployed in High Availability mode, you can ensure
that important monitoring, authentication, and reporting tasks continue in the event of an unexpected
shutdown.
Note: Refer to the Configuring High Availability (HA) section of the Cisco NAC Appliance − Clean Access
Server (CAS) Installation and Administration Guide in order to know how to configure the HA feature in the
CAS.
