VLAN
A VLAN is a switched network that is logically segmented by functions, 
project teams, or applications rather than on a physical or geographical 
basis. 
Options: No VLAN, Enable VLAN ID (1–4095)
Default: No VLAN
Option
Description
No VLAN
No VLANs are enabled.
Enable VLAN 
ID
Enables a VLAN and specifies its identification 
number (1 through 4095).
Native VLAN
Specifies the VLAN that normally transmits and  
receives administrative data.
Note
After you have enabled a VLAN and 
assigned an identification number, check 
the Native VLAN check box to designate 
it as the native VLAN.
