This document describes a problem encountered where a Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Gigabit Ethernet Fabric
Extender (N2K−C2248TP−E−1GE FEX) does not come online when connected to Nexus 7000 Series router
and provides a possible solution to the problem.

Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of the Cisco Nexus Operating System (NX−OS) CLI.

Problem
A N2K−C2248TP−E−1GE FEX does not come online when connected to Nexus 7000 Series router, and the
state of the Fabric Extender (FEX) appears as Image Download:
