Introduction
This document describes how to distinguish one Route Processor Module (RPM) from another. The RPM for
the Cisco MGX 8800, 8230, and 8250 series products has undergone several revisions, which can cause
confusion when you need to distinguish one from another. You must be able to identify differences between
the three generations of RPMs in order to process a return material authorization (RMA) order.
