Configures the APN-AMBR (aggregate maximum bit rate) that will be stored in the Home Subscriber Server (HSS).

Exec > Global Configuration > APN Profile Configuration 

configure > apn-profile profile_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[local]host_name(apn-profile-profile_name)# 

 

qos apn-ambr max-ul mbr-up max-dl mbr-dwn 

remove qos apn-ambr 

 

Removes the APN-AMBR changes from the configuration for this APN profile.  

 

Defines the maximum bit rates for uplink (subscriber to network) and downlink (network to subscriber) 
traffic. 

 is an integer from 0 through 1410065408.  

 is an integer from 0 through 1410065408.  

Use this command to define the MBR that will be enforced by the GGSN or P-GW for both uplink and 
downlink traffic shaping.
