Enables PCRF policy control for this access profile. By default, this command is disabled.

Exec > Global Configuration > Context Configuration > CSCF Access Profile Configuration 

configure > context context_name > cscf access-profile { default | name profile_name }

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[context_name]host_name(config-cscf-access-profile)# 

 

[ default | no ] pcrf-policy-control 

 

PCRF policy control is disabled. 

Use this command to enable or disable PCRF policy control for this access profile.  
When a subscriber sends a REGISTER message, P-CSCF extracts the access-type mentioned in the P-
Access-Network-Info and stores it. When P-CSCF needs to trigger an AAR for a subscriber, either for 
signaling-loss-detection or media-authorization, it will check if pcrf-policy-control is enabled for that 
subscriber's stored access-type. If pcrf-policy-control is enabled, AAR will be sent to PCRF for that 
subscriber.
