upgrade. If the chassis is not active, an error message displays.

Syntax
 
interface name send gratuitous-arp ip-address 
Usage 
This command generates a G-ARP for the IP address specified and sends it over the interface. 
Example
 
The following generate a G-ARP for IP address 
192.168.100.10.
 
interface interface_1 send gratuitous-arp 192.168.100.10
