This command allows you to control whether TFT updates are sent to UE or not for default bearer for the specified 
rulebase.

active-charging service service_name > rulebase rulebase_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[local]host_name(config-rule-base)# 

 

{ default | no } tft-notify-ue-def-bearer 

 

The default behavior is to send the TFT updates of default bearer for the specified APN to UE. 

 

This keyword controls the TFT updates of default bearer for the APN attached to the chassis, from being sent 
to the UE. 

Use this command at the rulebase level to control whether TFT updates are sent to UE or not for default 
bearer for the specified rulebase. 
This feature provides the operator the flexibility to configure this per Rulebase and also configure to suppress 
TFT updates only. The CLI command allows sending other QoS updates to the UE and controls only the TFT 
related updates. This CLI is supported only for default bearer. 
In releases prior to 15.0, the "

" CLI command is used to 

suppress all the TFT updates to the UE on the default bearer including the initial TFTs sent in the Create 
Session Response. Also, this configuration is available for the entire system and not per rulebase. 
Additionally, this CLI command suppresses all the QoS related updates (including change in bit rate) to the 
UE.
