Important:
  When you apply a configuration file after the boot process, the file does not 
delete the configuration loaded as part of the boot process. Only those commands that are duplicated 
are overwritten. 
 
Configuration files can be stored in any of the following locations: 
 
Network Server: Any workstation or server on the network that StarOS can access using the Secure 
File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). This is recommended for large network deployments in which multiple 
systems require the same configuration. 
 
/flash: a solid-state device with limited storage. 
 
/hd-raid: internal RAID storage. 
 
Each time you save configuration changes you made during a CLI session, you can save those settings to a 
configuration file.
