Introduction
This document describes the procedures used in order to troubleshoot Cisco Nexus 1000V (N1KV) Series
switches on Microsoft (MS) Hyper−V servers. Implementation on Hyper−V is much different than on ESXi,
so there will be some frequently−encountered issues; thus, this document was created.
Much of the information described in this document comes directly from the Engineering New Product
Introduction (NPI), and from issues encountered during beta testing. This document is dynamic in nature, and
will be updated accordingly.
