  Creating Targets

On the Server Availability panel, specify the ABAP application servers that you want to monitor for 
availability and the ability to log in a user:

Click Next.

On the Completing the New SAP System Wizard panel, verify that the information is correct and click 
Finish to complete the procedure.
Creating BWA Unix/Linux Target
If you want to run the BWA TREX atomic processes that are included in the Core Automation for SAP 
BW, BWA and BOBJ automation pack, you must create the BWA Unix/Linux System target.

Step 1
On the Definitions workspace, right-click Targets and choose New > Unix/Linux System to open the 
New Unix/Linux System Properties dialog box.
Step 2
On the General tab, specify the following information:

Description
Servers available for monitoring
All detected servers are selected by default. Verify that the 
check box next to each server that you want to monitor is 
checked.
Add
If a server is offline during configuration, it will not be 
displayed in the list of available servers. To manually add 
the server, click Add and enter the name of the server.
Remove
If you want to remove a server from the list, select the 
server and click Remove.
Select All
If the check boxes have been unchecked and you want all 
servers to be monitored, click Select All.
Deselect All
If all the check boxes are checked and you want to uncheck 
all of them, click Deselect All.
Field
Description
Display name
Enter a name for the Database target. This is the name that 
will display in the Targets pane.
Type
Display only. Type of target.
Owner
User name of the owner of the target. This is typically the 
person who created the target. Click the Browse 
 tool 
to change the owner.
Status
Display only. Status of the target.
Status information
Display only. Detailed information regarding the target 
status.
